Cette chanson a été composé initialement pour la chanteuse américaine Gloria Gaynor en Octobre 1978 par Freddie Perren et Dino Fekaris. La reprise de Cake est bien mieux, selon moi. Ce qui me paraît attesté par le fait même que Gloria Gaynor n'a pas du tout apprécié cette reprise, offusquée qu'elle était par les légers changements que Cake avait apporté aux paroles, qu'elle avait trouvées offensantes.
